Baldassarre Rock Orchestra (2024 Highlight Reel)
Hello UA-cam family! 🎸✨
It's been a long time since we rocked & rolled! Many of you have asked why I haven't posted any "Professor of Classic Rock" UA-cam videos. The simple answer is... "There is only one of me!" 😅
I loved doing music breakdowns for my UA-cam fans, but I also love writing and performing live. The reality is, I can't do all three things at once. So, a year ago, I decided to focus on writing and putting together a new live show. 🎶
I'm finishing up a new album called "Deep Grooves" with Jacob Dupre and Nick D'Virgilio. Remember them from my short-lived "Soul of Zeppelin" project? We've created a killer album of riff & groove-heavy music deeply rooted in the style of 70's funk, soul, and rock. Much of the inspiration came from the episodes I did for my channel. More about this album will be forthcoming. 🎸🕺
What's taken the lion's share of my time is putting together my live show, The Baldassarre Rock Orchestra. This 70’s classic rock symphonic circus unites the power of rock and classical music in a spectacle of sound, lights, and entertainment! The 9-piece rock orchestra features killer musicians, including the world-renowned string quartet OPUS 216 and Mark Boals on lead vocals (You might remember Mark from my PROG band Syzygy). 🎻🎤
The Baldassarre Rock Orchestra plays a mix of 70's classic rock with symphonic arrangements and original classical and rock music I've written. The show is a wildly diverse and flowing production. 🎶🌟
All of this to say... HERE IS OUR OFFICIAL HIGHLIGHT VIDEO that gives you a glimpse of the Baldassarre Rock Orchestra live! We hope you like it! 🎥🤘
The shows are going great and have been a lot of fun. It's also been a ton of work to take this show on the road, as we have 11 performers plus 8 crew/production staff! But it's worth every calorie of energy! 🚐🔥
If you have a chance to read this description, please like, subscribe, and comment on this video! 👍📲💬
BTW... I will return to the channel with new episodes at some point, but I'm having a lot of fun putting into practice what I've been showing all of you! 🤗🎸
Peace & Love,
Carl ✌️❤️

Carl Baldassarre - It's Christmas Each Day - [OFFICIAL LYRIC VIDEO] (Christmas music)
Переглядів 6326 місяців тому
"It’s Christmas Each Day" A romantic Christmas Song (using the “Magic” Christmas chord) I swore I'd never write a Christmas song (as if the world needed another one!). But fate intervened when I stumbled upon an article titled "The Magic Christmas Chord." That caught my eye, and I embraced the challenge to weave that so-called "magic" chord into a delightful Christmas Song. I must confess, the ...

man where have i been, this rocks like a mother fucker period.
It might get loud!
Bro u guys got the tone down soo nice. Absolutely amazing and for sure my favourite track of theirs. All love ♥️
Oh and both Blackmore and Hendrix said that Page was a good player. Why would they say that if he sucks?
answer: NO. Thanks Carl. Now, go away
A lot of people mindlessy say that Page is sloppy without giving it much thought. They just hop on the bandwagon and while doing that, miss the forests for the trees. Page definitely had sloppy moments but to dismiss all of his playing as sloppy is such BS.
I had seen Page / Plant in 1993 at the Spectrum in Philly. Page stopped his solo on the middle and restarted. It broke my heart. And Plant who I didn’t expect to sound great did in fact sound fantastic. I agree with you though… he played with passion and emotion. and his body of work speaks for itself. He was not a Steve via and that’s just fine. Still a legend. It’s too easy to tear people apart long after the fact.
I've been listening to Jimmy Page for more years than I can count. You sound nothing like him dude.
Martin barre was a great guitarist but this music was written by ian anderson. I think barre wrote a little on minstrel in the gallery but anderson was the composer on everything else.
I used to live in Capitol Hill in Seattle I was taking a cold one there was a group of ukrainians they saw me with a electric guitar they were talking to each other and they call me Jimmy Page a snowman I told Eddie Van Halen they laugh good joke go Jimmy Page go Rock on 👏
NOPE
Excellent 👏 The comparison to the Impressionists was a perfect analogy for Page’s soloing. I am a huge Page fan, and I suppose then it’s no coincidence that my favorite art belongs in the Impressionist category.
D tuning?
Quer mostrar mais a si mesmo do que falar do Gentle Giant. Chato do cacete.
This is literally the best song breakdown/instructional video on youtube, absolutely killed it. Such an important song in my life, what a masterpiece.
I watch these guys playing really complex guitar and dream theatre and then i say can you play Red Barchette by Rush and theyre like man that basic been playing it for decades. Then they continue to play it note for note, but it sucks. They can play a Joe Satriani song but cant make triads or basic guitar sound really good. You cant play easy stuff like Gilmour well if youre shredding and spending all your time on that, sorry never heard it from a shredder. When someone says i lie your tone they dont realize its the players understated technique.
Great video Keep it up man Excellent job
To answer your question, yes.
Sick video. I love Tull.
Barre is a very good guitarist but he is not underrated as suggested by many. His guitar tone is integral to the Tull sound JT has become a truly great and unique band because of Ian Anderson’s considerable talents- songwriting, composition, powerful vocals , acoustic guitar , harmonica plus the flute and the pulsating guitar of Barre . In addition there is propulsive drumming of Clive Bunker, thumping bass guitar of Glen and subtle piano and organ of Evans . It’s the merging of these sounds that made JT a truly unique band . JT music is a combination of jazz, blues , folk , hard rock and progressive rock . Acoustic JT is as good as hard rocking JT
Do some Alex Lifeson
This man makes this riff so physicaly demanding. Hed play a power chord with gritted teeth and clench posture and fingers
Is it not a passage to bangkok
Great vídeo!! Very well done!! Congrats!! 👏👏👏👏👏
Sweet earing bro
Gentle Giant was made up of five one man bands.
Great song, and commentary, but u know ur not playing that riff the right way?
And a Bugera in the background...😊
Every dirty sound is cleaner than you'd initially think, and every good clean tone is dirtier than you'd think. Almost all great guitar tones exist in a pretty narrow band of gain.
No
I've been there...did not bump into Page though...drag !
I usually smoke some weed and it all comes together....
What are the settings on the amp and pedal for base, mid and treble please help me i never understand what to do with those
no YYZ?
Nothing that they wrote was straightforward..🤔
Please keep up the great work!!!
Hi Carl, Jim here, Another SLAMMING track from Rush is off of the“Fly By Night” album. Titled, “In The End.”
Hey Carl, Jim here again.. “For Your Life” would be an EXCELLENT track to break down into its sections. It’s also from LZ “Presence”..
Fantastic video well done
Apparently he played the solo for Since I’ve Been Loving You all in one take for the LP! Wow that’s amazing!?! 🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠
Hey Carl, Jimmy here, I wanted to ask, as a few suggestions. Would you be able to do a breakdown to 3 Epic songs, all by RUSH? “Jacob’s Ladder,” “La Villa Strangiato,” & “The Camera Eye.” I would like to hear how you would break these songs down, by their “sections/movements.” These are just suggestions, thanks for listening!
This song always gives me “chills,” like a haunting. This is my favorite Led Zeppelin song. It’s A very “deep-rooted” Epic track!
Badass, you guys killed it, great players and vocals.
Did he...are you...using the delay time & length, both on roughly the #1 settings? I've played for nearly 52 years but have never purposefully attempted to emulate his playing nor tone. He, like Tony Iommi are 2 of the most marvelously weirdest players of all time, which of course is a good thing! Thanks;)
Tone is actually on a guitar players fingers 🤌
Playing style and technique are, but not tone.
Cool DARLENE
Well done and I am also a teacher of Jethro Tull music Richard N. Fustino
Beautiful song, great breakdown of it!
I swear this guy is my doctor. He o my lets his hair out to play. I know I know it’s his nephew I moved around and giggling for years of gig but this is spot on. The resemblance is striking and hey doc.
and your bird can sing also has a beatiful riff
